Free Online Tools That Don't Upload Your Files, Make You Sign Up or Add Watermarks

Quick answer: These are free everyday tools that work entirely in your browser: a QR code generator whose codes never expire, a PDF toolkit to merge, split and reorder pages, a PDF signer, a photo converter for HEIC, file-size limits and removing location data, a resume builder and an invoice maker with free PDF downloads, a subscription tracker with renewal reminders, a meeting planner across time zones, a password generator with a safe breach check, and a word counter. None of them upload your files, ask you to sign up, add a watermark or limit how often you use them.

We built these because the same complaints keep coming up about "free" online tools. QR codes that stop working when a trial ends. Resume builders that charge at the download button. PDF sites that cap you at two tasks a day and keep your documents on their servers. E-signature services that let you send three documents, ever. Photo converters that need your private pictures uploaded first. Each tool here fixes one of those problems, and all of them follow the same four rules.

Our Four Rules

  1. Your files stay on your device. Everything runs in your browser. Once a tool has loaded you can turn on airplane mode and it still works.
  2. No account, ever. Nothing to sign up for, and no email address asked for.
  3. No watermark, trial or paywall. What you make is yours to download in full.
  4. No limits. Use them as often as you like. The only limit is your device's memory.

Where a tool remembers something for you, such as your resume, invoice details or subscription list, it is stored only in your own browser, and each tool has a button to clear it.

How to Tell Whether an Online Tool Is Really Free and Private

  • Try the download first. Before typing anything real, make a test version and download it. If the download asks for payment or an account, leave.
  • Look for "no upload" or "processed in your browser". Better still, load the page, turn off your internet connection and see whether it still works.
  • Read what happens after a trial. Dynamic QR codes, e-signature sends and "pro" exports often stop or start charging when the trial ends.
  • Don't upload ID, contracts or medical records to any site that processes files on its own servers, whatever its privacy page says.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these tools really free?

Yes. There is no account, trial, watermark or usage limit. The site is supported by ordinary advertising on the article pages, not by charging for the tools.

Do the tools upload my files?

No. Files are processed in your browser and never leave your device. The only network requests load the tools' own code, plus the optional password breach check, which sends only a 5-character partial fingerprint.

Do they work on phones?

Yes, in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android, as well as on computers. Very large PDFs or hundreds of photos are faster on a computer.

Can I use them for my business?

Yes. QR codes, invoices, signed documents and everything else you make are yours to use commercially.

Will you add more tools?

Yes. We add tools for the jobs people tell us are hardest to do for free and in private.
